We are seeking a seasoned Proposal Specialist to drive the development of winning bids for U.S. federal government contracts, particularly IT-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Proposal Specialist will lead the development of proposals for federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders for IT projects, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements and alignment with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements, develop IT-specific win themes, and write compelling proposal sections.
  • Manage proposal schedules and deliverables using project management tools, ensuring timely submissions for IT-focused bids.
  • Write, edit, and review proposal content for IT solutions, ensuring clarity, persuasiveness, and adherence to FAR, DFARS, and IT-specific standards.
  • Coordinate proposal reviews and maintain compliance matrices and IT-focused content libraries.
  • Stay current with federal acquisition regulations, IT industry trends, and agency-specific IT requirements to enhance proposal strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in proposal management/writing in U.S. federal bidding for IT projects for agencies like DoD, DOE, or HHS.
  • Expertise in federal procurement processes and IT compliance standards.

Proficiency with tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint or Google Workspace, and proposal software for managing IT proposal workflows and project management tools for tracking IT project bids.
