Job Opportunity:

The role of Staff Accountant involves preparing proposals for journal entries, reviewing and analyzing general ledger and sub ledgers, sending reports on pending transactions to clients, and completing AR reconciliations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create proposal of journal entries.
  • Review and analyze general ledger and sub ledgers
  • Send the corresponding reports of pending transactions to the client to be recorded within the accounting system
  • Complete AR reconciliations and others related with cash position.
  • Collaborate with AP, BR, Taxes and other departments in order to collect information required.
  • Support the department leader in all tasks that are required
  • Maintain a status of the operation and send when necessary and/or required by client.
  • Respond to all requests sent by the client in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • 2-6 Year Experience in corporate accounting.
  • Excellent computer skills particularly in Excel including fluent with Pivot Tables and formulas, Word, and Email.
  • English as a second language is required.
  • Possibilities to modify work schedule is a plus.
