Business Intelligence Analyst Position

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to lead our team in driving data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify business problems that can be solved through data analysis and visualizations using BI analytics platforms.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Extract relevant data from various sources, perform data cleaning and validation, and assess data quality.
  • Provide insights to the team to improve data collection and validation at the point of capture.
  • Move data between source and target systems, build data repositories, and maintain dataset integrity.
  • Showcase findings as data visualizations to drive decision-making and brainstorm ideas for future tools and products.
  • Write queries to fetch data from different types of data sources.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience involving logical thinking, data analytics, quantitative analysis, and algorithm optimization.
  • Strong understanding of databases, analytics, and application programming languages such as Python, R, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and ability to communicate effectively with customers.

  • Basic communication skills to respond to customers and constructive thinking to deal with difficult situations.
