Database Development Position

This is a long-term contract opportunity to work with a leading technology company.

We are seeking an experienced database developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift.

  • Develop and implement complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
  • Design, develop, stabilize, and enhance SQL programs to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in the field of database development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL programming.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for data visualization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to handle complexity under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Sigma or other reporting tools on top of Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
