Job Opportunity: Senior Database Administrator

The role of a Senior Database Administrator is critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of our databases. This position involves designing, developing, installing, tuning, deploying, securing, migrating, and upgrading DBMS installations.

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee database management, maintenance, and migration across Cloud and On-Prem platforms with minimal or no downtime.

Mission:

  • Design and implement scalable database architectures for optimal performance.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Migrate databases between Cloud and On-Prem environments with zero data loss.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6-8 years of experience in database administration or development.
  • Proficient knowledge in working with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other DBMS technologies.
  • Experience in database cloud services including AWS, Azure, GCP, and their respective migration processes.
  • Relevant database certifications on cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux systems, and Cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Achievements:

  • Expertise in HA/DR, replication, database encryption, index, and filegroup management.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to Developers on design, code review, SQL query performance tuning.
