Oracle Database Administrator Position

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle database administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance Oracle RDBMS systems, including Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Oracle Exadata systems, database administration, and cloud computing principles. They will lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives, design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, and automate database operations using scripting tools.

Responsibilities include developing standards and procedures for maintenance and modification of database platforms, providing systems architecture guidance in creating high availability systems, and collaborating with cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills, experience with cloud migrations, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven track record of working with large-scale database environments, experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Ability to provide expert guidance on database architecture, capacity planning, performance improvement, and storage management.
