Database Engineer Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Database Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity.

This role requires the ability to design, develop, and implement databases with expertise in MySQL. Additionally, strong knowledge of database design principles and development best practices is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with Linux and have a solid understanding of basic shell scripting. Furthermore, they should have a working knowledge of Docker/containers, Kubernetes/kubectl, and AWS, including an AWS DevOps certification if possible.

Proficiency in Python syntax and concepts, as well as Terraform at an intermediate to expert level, is also required. Familiarity with Ansible and Datadog for monitoring and alerting purposes is beneficial.
