The primary objective of a Visual Merchandiser is to create an engaging and compelling in-store experience that aligns with the brand's overall strategy.

As a key member of the team, this individual will be responsible for developing comprehensive visual merchandising plans that drive sales growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative visual merchandising concepts that reflect the brand's aesthetic and appeal to the target audience.
  • Travel with team members to learn about new trends, share best practices, and secure approvals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design seasonal calendars for in-store displays, including datelines, execution, and budgeting.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure high-quality products while maintaining relationships.
  • Research market trends and file reports, creating strategic recommendations as necessary.
  • Inspire teams with creative VM concepts that drive business results.
  • Allocate human resources effectively to ensure optimal territory coverage.
  • Design in-store displays, marketing promos, and floor plans that align with the brand's image.
  • Train store teams on research-based lifestyle concepts, trends, and regional attributes.
  • Maintain store appearance through regular visits and provide coaching to staff.
  • Ensure proper uniforms, communication skills, and awareness of VM standards among store staff.

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of VM experience, preferably from the retail industry.
  • Ability to manage large teams and lead by example.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and adaptability.
  • Will to travel for work to different cities and locations.
