Job Title: Business Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Engineering Centre in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workloads, planning for future activities, ensuring compliance with corporate norms, managing costs, and preparing weekly KPIs for all divisions functioning at the centre.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering software development or managing a team of highly qualified technical experts. A Master's degree in Engineering is also required. Excellent communication abilities, ability to handle multiple subjects at one time, and ability to report to multiple departments (matrix organization) are essential skills for this role. Knowledge of French is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workload Management: Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control expenses to optimize resource allocation.
  • KPI Reporting: Prepare and submit weekly reports on divisional performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience; preferably in engineering software development or managing a team of highly qualified technical experts;
  • Excellent communication abilities;
  • Ability to handle multiple subjects at one time;
  • Ability to report to multiple departments (matrix organization);
  • Knowledge of French is an advantage.
