Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounts administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate accounting records. This includes processing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, statutory filings, and financial reporting.

In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, Administration, and other teams to handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain general ledger, balance statements, and P&L accounts, and prepare bank and credit card reconciliations and cash management reports.

You will also be responsible for invoicing clients based on sales terms, following up for timely clearance, and preparing, sending, and storing invoices, as well as contacting clients for payment reminders.

Additionally, you will process monthly payroll accurately and on time, review staff reimbursements and expense vouchers, and collaborate with administration for employee travel requests and project-related expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, payroll, statutory filings, and financial reporting.
  • Invoice clients based on sales terms and follow up for timely clearance.
  • Prepare, send, and store invoices, and contact clients for payment reminders.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience: 2-5 years in accounting, finance, or accounts administration.

Skills: Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting tools. Strong understanding of payroll, TDS, GST, accounts reconciliation, and statutory compliance.

Personal Qualities: Meticulous, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with financial data. Comfortable coordinating with multiple internal teams, clients, and vendors.
