Job Title: IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at EVitamin Business Consulting Pvt. Ltd., responsible for efficiently managing both client interactions and project teams. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful project execution, client satisfaction, and team collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Understand client needs, expectations, and goals, and work to exceed them.
  2. Project Team Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking and effective problem-solving. Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members.
  3. Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  4. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring the right skills are matched to project requirements. Manage resource availability and utilization to optimize team productivity.
  5. Risk Management: Identify project risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them. Maintain a keen awareness of potential obstacles and be prepared to pivot when necessary.
  6. Quality Assurance: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet both client specifications and internal standards. Conduct regular quality checks and ensure adherence to best practices.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project status, updates, and challenges to both internal stakeholders and clients. Keep all parties well-informed to manage expectations effectively.
  8. Budget Oversight: Monitor project finances, including cost tracking, resource utilization, and adherence to budget constraints. Ensure optimal resource allocation to meet financial goals.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance project management processes, methodologies, and tools. Leverage lessons learned to refine future projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, successfully managing complex projects and client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward project success.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
