Risk and Portfolio Management Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Risk and Portfolio Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, analytics, and technology, with experience in driving financial inclusion and serving underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk models to drive credit and fraud strategy in a Big Data environment
  • Deliver projects individually, with a track record of success and thought leadership
  • Evolve digital lending products through identification of new customer segments and innovative product constructs
  • Build processes that maximize operating efficiency while maintaining risk across multiple lending cycles
  • Collect and analyze data to drive business iterations and improvements
  • Manage stakeholders across functions internally and externally to build effective relationships and drive business deliverables
  • Orient the customer journey to drive usage, credit education, and repayment across multiple digital channels
  • Build credit strategy to define customer eligibility and limit/exposure decisions through customer loan life cycle
  • Track various portfolio MIS against the plan
  • Execute campaigns to drive uptake, usage, and repayment, track performance KPIs
  • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to develop and implement a Test Learn approach for various messages, offers, etc

Requirements

  • Possess a solid understanding of cutting-edge credit/fraud strategy leveraging risk models, preferably in a Big Data environment
  • Have hands-on experience and a track record of delivering projects in an individual capacity
  • Be able to innovate and evolve digital lending products through identification of new customer segments and innovative product constructs
  • Have a process-oriented mindset, building processes that maximize operating efficiency while maintaining risk across multiple lending cycles
  • Be willing to take on calculated risks and deal with ambiguity
  • Be obsessive about collecting and analyzing data to drive business iterations and improvements
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills, working with partners across functions internally and externally to build effective relationships and drive business deliverables
