Role Overview:

We seek an experienced credit professional to lead the credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement credit policies, frameworks, and processes for lending and supply chain financing.
  • Lead the credit appraisal and underwriting function, including assessment of borrower risk and financial due diligence.
  • Oversee portfolio quality, delinquency management, and design early warning mechanisms to mitigate risk.
  • Work closely with business, risk, and operations teams to balance growth objectives with prudent credit practices.
  • Present credit proposals and portfolio performance updates to senior management as required.

Requirements:

  • 8–15 years of experience in credit risk/underwriting, preferably with financial institutions or fintechs.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain finance, bill discounting, invoice financing, and related credit products.
  • Proven ability to build credit frameworks from scratch and manage large loan books with quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory norms and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial landscape and be able to navigate complex regulatory environments.
