Job Description

  • The Insurance Branch Manager will oversee the operations, sales, and customer service delivery within a designated geographic area.
  • This role will involve managing multiple insurance branches or sales teams, driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • The Area Sales Director will also be accountable for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.


Responsibilities
  • Understand the IMF regulation and registration process.
  • Implement the IMF acquisition plan in the territory, identifying potential leads and sources for prospective IMF's, coordinating with HO for referred leads.
  • Connect with prospects and organize seminars for IMF acquisition, ensuring conversion of leads through effective pitch of IMF value proposition.
  • Ensure quality of IMF's in sync with desired profile, enabling the setup of IMF of agreed prospects.
  • Understand all regulatory requirements and manage the IMF registration process with IRDA.
  • Oversee technology support to enrolled IMF's, ensuring seamless contracting of IMF's with Max Life.
  • Manage performance of setup IMF's in steady state, developing understanding of products and coaching IMF staff on product USP's.
  • Implement a performance management and rewards system, driving IMF profitability through improving productivity of IMF's sellers and controlling cost of sales.
  • Provide marketing, training, and operational support to IMF's, managing attrition of IMF's through revival or replacement.
  • Drive quality of business sourced from IMF's, ensuring right product mix and controlling key quality measures such as leakage and persistency.
