About the Role:

The Senior Regional Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales, operations, and profitability across assigned divisions, comprising branches and base offices. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales, Operations & CRM:
    • Implementing organizational goals within the division.
    • Planning and achieving segment-wise revenue targets as per the annual operating plan, ensuring revenue targets are met.
    • Guiding branches to achieve profitable business and expanding RPCI services in the region.
    • Ensuring financial goals are met, including credit policy, expenses, and profitability.
    • Reviewing branches periodically for performance against the annual plan and initiating course corrections.
    • Maintaining smooth branch operations in accordance with SOPs.
    • Conducting quarterly/monthly reviews, analysis, and reporting of business performance to the Regional Head.
    • Monitoring competitor activities and gathering market intelligence for planning sales strategies.
    • Engaging with Marketing, OPEX, and Procurement to align with company objectives.
    • Participating in customer meets conducted by branches and monitoring promotional activities.
    • Identifying and visiting key customers to ensure their needs are met, maintaining customer contact management and relations.
    • Ensuring compliance with all company policies by branches, conducting periodical visits to identify and resolve issues.
    • Attending customer complaints when necessary, monitoring costing for major jobs, and ensuring quality services are maintained in the region.
    • Accountable for customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Ensuring all branches deliver services on time, with minimum backlog, and on-time renewal.
    • Ensuring SCP devices are active at all times and used for all service delivery.
    • Regularly monitoring operations KPIs with Branch Managers and Operations teams to achieve organizational operations KPIs.

Overall Administration:

  • Ensuring compliance with policies, including HR, Training, SHE, PN, and ATEX, within the division.
  • Conducting performance appraisals of branch managers every six months, ensuring transparency among subordinates.
  • Communicating company policies and relevant matters clearly and on time to branches.
  • Coodinating with HR department to handle IR and HR-related issues at the Divisional level, maintaining cordial employee relations.
  • Ensuring all supporting documents related to appointments are sent by branches.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies by all branches.
  • Creating a harmonious working atmosphere, ensuring equal opportunities for work, incentives, and performance.
  • Grooming branch managers for higher responsibilities, mentoring them to carry out tasks effectively.
  • Handling subordinate grievances.
  • Implementing SHE-related policies to ensure safety of employees and customers during services.
  • Monitoring employee training and evaluations as per job requirements.
  • Recruiting qualified employees and creating a talent pool to meet branch needs.
  • To address branch issues to CO/Regional Head and keep branch managers updated in a timely manner.
  • Developing growth plans for top performers in branches.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or its equivalent) in a related area. A Master's Degree in Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • The candidate should have at least 6-8 years or more of managerial experience.
  • He should have experience in handling large teams of sales and other functions and a proven track record of performance.
  • The candidate should be willing to travel extensively; ideally a person from a service industry background would fit the requirement.
