The Logistics Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of logistics operations. This encompasses a range of responsibilities including inventory control, warehouse coordination, transportation tracking, and documentation. The primary objective is to ensure the efficient movement of goods while adhering to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Coordination:

• Implement logistics plans for timely deliveries, coordinating with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution.

• Support route planning and shipment scheduling for optimal efficiency.

2. Inventory & Warehouse Support:

• Monitor stock levels and support inventory audits to maintain accurate records.

• Ensure proper documentation during goods receipt, storage, and dispatch.

">

• Maintain product storage and safety standards to prevent damage or loss.

">

3. Transportation & Vendor Handling:

">

• Track shipments and escalate delays or issues to ensure timely delivery.

">

• Coordinate with transporters and third-party logistics providers to optimize logistics processes.

• Support negotiation and execution of transportation agreements to secure favorable terms.

">

4. Compliance & Documentation:

">

• Maintain accurate logistics records and shipment documentation to ensure compliance.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.

">

• Follow safety protocols and assist in periodic risk assessments.

5. Reporting & Cost Monitoring:

• Provide daily/weekly logistics updates and reports to the manager.

• Track logistics expenses and highlight cost-optimization opportunities.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations is also required. Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and MS Excel is essential. Additionally, strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are necessary for success in this position.
