
Health and Safety Manager

Oversee and manage operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Provide guidance on proper food handling practices and deliver training sessions for new employees and trainees.
Identify areas of risk in various food operations and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
Offer technical advice on product labeling issues to meet regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with management to hire, train, schedule, evaluate, counsel, discipline, and motivate employees.
Adhere to company policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to supervisor; complete safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance; protect company assets.
Address customer service needs.
Communicate effectively with colleagues using clear and professional language.
Foster positive working relationships with others; support team to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform tasks that require standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Environmental Health or Culinary Arts.
Related Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None required.
