Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to play a key role in maintaining and improving our company's health and safety performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
  • Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to ensure they meet safety requirements.
  • Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of various industrial control mechanisms.
  • Ensure buildings or products comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Install safety devices on machinery or direct their installation.
  • Review employee safety programs and recommend improvements.
