Printer Support Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printer Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of printers, plotters, and printing from a mainframe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage print services on the server, including software installation and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot printer issues such as driver installation, mapping, and print queues.
  • Handle hardware issues related to printers and leading vendor calls.
  • Patch activities on print servers and perform validations.
  • Monitor and manage enterprise print services using OMPlus and LRS VPSX.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of mainframes, VPS, and VPSX.
  • Experience with OCR and document processing.
  • Ability to handle P1, P2 tickets and MI's.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
