Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.

They will handle creator/publisher payouts, invoicing, and vendor payments, ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will assist with audits, tax-related matters, and monthly/quarterly closings.

They will also support budgeting, MIS reporting, and cash-flow management while working cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial tasks, including accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
  • Process Payments: Handle creator/publisher payouts, invoicing, and vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain knowledge of Indian accounting standards and compliances, including GST, TDS, and ROC filings.
  • Assist with Audits: Provide support during audit processes, addressing tax-related matters and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Support Financial Planning: Assist with budgeting, MIS reporting, and cash-flow management to ensure the company's financial health.
Requirements:
  • Financial Expertise: 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounts, preferably in a startup/SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Standards: Good understanding of Indian accounting standards and compliances, including GST, TDS, and ROC.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting tools, such as Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, and Excel/Sheets.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
