Accounting Role

We seek a skilled professional to oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role is critical for maintaining financial health and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash receipts, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure accuracy in daily financial postings, reconciliations, and closing activities.
  • Oversee cash flow to ensure timely payment of financial commitments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure alignment with internal accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to highlight financial performance and trends.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Monitor and track budget allocations, spending patterns, and variances against forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and communicate findings to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on budget adherence.
  • Ensure adherence to local and statutory accounting principles and guidelines.
  • Maintain and update financial records to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA Inter/Final qualification is preferred.
  • Proven work experience (4+ years) in an accounting or finance role, ideally in managing day-to-day operations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
