Purviv Labs is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented E-commerce Data Analyst to join our team. This role will be crucial in optimizing our product portfolio and marketing strategies by analyzing sales performance, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) across various online marketplaces.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled data analyst with experience in e-commerce analysis, preferably in the home décor or consumer goods industry. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales data and trends for multiple product categories, including bedding, blankets, pillows, bath mats, bath rugs, kitchen flooring, pet products, and hydration products.
  • Assess the performance of current products and recommend buying, reordering, or discontinuing products based on profitability and demand.
  • Identify gaps in the product portfolio and recommend new product opportunities based on market trends and customer preferences.

e-Commerce Channel Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, and other sales channels.
  • Monitor conversion rates, revenue, return rates, and customer reviews to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory management and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.

Digital Marketing Strategies:

  • Analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and provide insights on optimizing advertising spend.
  • Recommend whether to scale, pause, or adjust ad campaigns based on performance data.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to improve product listings, SEO, and customer engagement.

Report Preparation & Insights:

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales, category performance, and product trends.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership on business performance.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce data analysis, preferably in the home décor or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong experience with data analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Wayfair Partner Portal, and Overstock Vendor Dashboard is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies, including PPC campaigns and SEO optimization.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
