We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be able to think creatively about complex business problems.
The goal of this role is to design, implement, and deliver business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and developing data-driven insights to inform their decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. You will also need to have experience with SQL, scripting languages, and other data analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement business intelligence solutions using data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and other data storage systems.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL, scripting languages, and other ETL tools.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- 10+ years of professional or military experience.
- 7+ years of SQL experience.
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining.
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.
