Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description:

The company is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the development of cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure, migration, and automation.

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the company's needs. This includes working with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and developing solutions that meet those needs.

You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and ensuring that our solutions are aligned with industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments with at least 4 years of solid hands-on experience in one or more public cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and hands-on experience with its implementation
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Golang
  • Hands-on experience with implementing cloud marketplace services and technologies
  • Knowledge of networking and internet protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks
  • Technical expertise with Microsoft Azure, including foundational services such as Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Virtual Machines, Storage, Load Balancer, Azure Active Directory, App Service, Azure Database, AKS, etc.
  • Deployment and administration of cloud monitoring services and tools
  • Broad experience in developing cloud migration and automation solutions in Azure
  • Experience working with GITLAB or similar tools
  • Knowledge and familiarity with adjacent technology areas including Network, Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Monitoring
