Job Description:

We are looking for a DevOps Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive DevOps best practices, mentor team members, and ensure system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments.
  • Drive automation across the development lifecycle to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best DevOps practices.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech) – Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or related roles.
  • Proven expertise in managing CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Strong experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, security protocols, and Linux/Unix systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
