About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes for our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and automation across our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform (IaC).
  • Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams to optimize cloud operations.
  • Maintain documentation, best practices, and standards for infrastructure and cloud environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster management (EKS preferred).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and networking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux for Kubernetes deployments.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Ansible, or other automation tools.
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
  • Ability to own projects end-to-end and deliver under tight timelines.
