Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Architect to lead the design, development and implementation of our platform infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the scalability, reliability and efficiency of our services and applications by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices in software delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and deployment of scalable and reliable platform architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and ensure the platform meets the needs of our business and customers.
  • Lead efforts to automate and improve deployment processes and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and proactively address potential bottlenecks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and teams.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible etc).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and services including load balancing, DNS and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
