Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Database Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and programming databases to enhance existing features and implement new initiatives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology product that addresses the needs of financial institutions. Your primary focus will be on designing, deploying, and configuring database components to meet client requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Database Design and Development: You will design and program databases to enhance existing features and implement new initiatives.
  2. Client Coordination: You will coordinate with clients to configure infrastructure required for deploying our application at their end.
  3. Deployment and Configuration: You will deploy and configure database components at client end, ensuring customized features, system security, and optimal performance.
  4. Performance Monitoring: You will monitor and optimize the performance of our application and database components.
  5. Technical Support: You will provide in-house expertise and technical support to end-users on database and software-related issues.
  6. Infrastructure Architecture: You will support the company's application, database, and infrastructure architecture.
  7. Backup and Recovery: You will plan and implement backup and recovery procedures for the database.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • RDBMS Basics: A strong understanding of relational database management systems.
  • SQL Database Experience: At least 3 years' experience with sound knowledge of SQL databases.
  • TSQL Knowledge: Knowledge of TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server) is an added advantage.
  • ETL Tools: Exposure to SSIS or other ETL tools.
  • File Systems: Good working knowledge of MS-Excel, .csv, and other file systems.
