Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst II to join our team. As a Pricing Analyst II, you will play a critical role in identifying problems, recommending solutions, and communicating the requirements and direction of new and existing products for airlines that meet market demand and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with airlines to provide innovative solutions for shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds using ATPCO fares and rules.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects through concept, development, and implementation, focusing on shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds.
  • Develop project requirements documents during the concept phase, defining all the requirements.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met during the development phase, working closely with developers and project managers.
  • Coordinate implementation and launch with internal departments to support quick adoption by customers.
  • Create and review functional requirements documents and technical design documentation for system and application implementation projects.
  • Support pilots and beta tests during implementation and launch.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in the travel industry, preferably with an airline reservation system, GDS, or travel agency.
  • Explicit ATPCO Automated Rules processing, including automated reissues (Cat 31) and refunds (Cat 33).
  • Strong overall knowledge of ATPCO fares, pricing, and data application.
  • Strong business requirements gathering and documentation capabilities.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • IATA Fare Construction knowledge is beneficial, as well as experience in gathering functional requirements and writing functional requirement documents.
