Job Summary:

A seasoned Pricing Strategist with 5+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding is required to analyze Requests for Quotation (RFQs), negotiate prices, and develop optimal solutions for shipping cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze RFQs from customers and obtain competitive pricing from shipping carriers and airlines
  • Develop optimal solutions to ship cargo based on large volume tenders
  • Prepare method statements for the operations team and follow through on execution by transporters, shipping carriers, etc.
  • Have good knowledge of World Geography, Major Shipping Ports, Lanes, etc., and excellent knowledge of shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, AirWay Bills, Invoices, survey processes, insurance processes, etc.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, written and spoken (English, Hindi, and Gujarati), and excellent negotiation skills
