Job Overview:

A Financial Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and coordinating accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger entries, as well as oversee month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinate accounts payable/receivable and payroll functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate calculations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain knowledge of tax regulations and internal policies, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement improved accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Ensure effective management of GST and TDS filings, E-Invoicing, and statutory calculations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong professional background in accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial operations.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of GST regulations and tax compliance, with a proactive approach to staying up-to-date.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
