Overview

This role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions to streamline business operations. As a Technical Lead, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of RPA bots to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the RPA team in developing, testing, and deploying RPA solutions using platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities and ensure RPA solutions align with business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RPA bots to automate rule-based tasks, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with best practices.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to RPA developers and analysts, promoting coding standards, development methodologies, and best practices.
  • Oversee project management, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and tracking project milestones.
  • Perform process assessments to analyze business requirements and identify processes suitable for automation.
  • Conduct regular reviews and performance tuning of implemented bots to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and other technical teams to ensure integration and seamless functionality across systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve RPA bot issues and performance-related problems to maintain business continuity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in RPA development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Expertise in process automation, workflow design, and business process management.
  • Strong programming skills in VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

  • RPA certification (UiPath Certified RPA Developer, Blue Prism Professional Developer, etc.).
  • Experience with integrating RPA bots with AI, machine learning, or cognitive automation tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and database management (SQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for RPA bots.
