Job Description:

The Sales and Marketing Manager for The Monarch Enterprises is responsible for leading the team of professionals involved in sales and marketing activities. They track market developments, create strategies, set up sales plans, and maintain customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing sales and marketing strategies and communicating job expectations by analyzing the existing gap, planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing job contributions.
  2. Managing, developing, coaching, controlling, and motivating the sales force to develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and that monthly sales targets and KPI targets are met.
  3. Achieving marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information.
  4. Maintaining updated customer information, including contact data, and organizing the CRM database of the company.
  5. Collecting and analyzing data on customer preferences and factors affecting product demands, and making business-oriented recommendations to the company.
  6. Conducting market intelligence, analyzing competitors' strategies, and reporting the same along with recommendations.
  7. Providing knowledge of merchandise to customers by explaining complex features and differences between merchandise and providing purchasing advice to customers.
  8. Providing superior customer service and support to the production system to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales.
  9. Assessing the SWOT analysis of the internal and external sales and marketing environments of the company.
  10. Training (supervising) and motivating sales staff to ensure that optimal levels of customer engagement are met.
  11. Achieving marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertisements.
  12. Identifying marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements.
  13. Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
  14. Sustaining rapport with key accounts and showroom performance by making periodic visits.
  15. Providing information and strongly participating in different bids.
  16. Managing, leading, and understanding the company's advertising and promotion plans in order to accurately explain them to customers and sales staff.
  17. Actively participating in the recruiting and interviewing process for all new employees.
  18. Conducting sales meetings with the staff regularly and preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
  19. Executing other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements & Qualification:

MBA or Specialist in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Architecture, Interior Design, and Furniture Design related field from recognized university.

Skills and Behaviours:

Desired skills for furniture sales associates include details, finishes, options, pricing, pricing and local competition, products, and product pricing.

Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and other designing software)

Proven ability to prioritize and initiate follow-through

Independently motivated but also able to work closely and collaboratively as a member of a highly interdependent team.

The ability to make sound decisions, provides effective leadership, and paying close attention to detail.

Relevant working experience in furniture field is preferred.

Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
