Job Title: Academic Program Director

Academic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive academic programs in film production, directing, and screenwriting.
  • Evaluate curriculum to ensure alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Lead program reviews, assessments, and accreditations to drive continuous improvement.

Faculty and Staff Management:

  • Mentor, evaluate, and support faculty and staff to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Promote professional development and research opportunities to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Student Development:

  • Oversee student recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts to ensure student success.
  • Support students through mentorship, career counseling, and access to industry events.
  • Promote student participation in film festivals, competitions, and other extracurricular activities.

Industry and Community Engagement:

  • Build partnerships with industry leaders, production houses, and film organizations to create mutually beneficial opportunities.
  • Organize guest lectures, workshops, and networking events to provide students with real-world experience.
  • Represent the institution in media and public forums to promote its reputation and expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience in academic administration or operations.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with academic management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
