Lead India Operations

We seek an accomplished operational leader to drive our in-country delivery of the India strategy. As our most senior representative, you'll oversee operations, governance, and compliance for three entities, managing a talented team of 11.

This role requires strong financial oversight, HR expertise, legal acumen, and cross-border reporting skills. You'll play a key role in aligning regional delivery with global priorities.

About the Role:

  • Operate as legal representative and Director for Indian entities, ensuring local laws and policies are upheld.
  • Oversee budgeting, team management, financial planning, and reporting across business units.
  • Lead and develop the Bengaluru-based team; mentor managers and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Deliver against a mission-led strategy focused on professional development, engineering excellence, and social impact.
  • Liaise with international teams to ensure operational alignment.
  • Represent the organisation with confidence in legal, governance, and business forums.

About You:

  • Proven operational leadership in India - ideally in a professional membership body, association or similarly regulated environment.
  • Exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
  • Ability to drive strategy with warmth, rigour, and agility.
  • Line management experience with the gravitas to lead national delivery.
