Senior Piping Design Engineer Role

We seek an experienced senior piping design engineer with exceptional expertise in piping, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to marine/offshore projects and be open to opportunities across piping design-related domains.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex engineering projects' piping design and layout activities.
  • Prepare and review GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (process, structural, mechanical, instrumentation).
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior designers.
  • Handle global client interactions professionally.
  • Understand client requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
  • Have knowledge of all marine classification societies, standards, and rules.
  • Be proficient in communication and work individually/team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design packages while adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify risks, deviations, propose solutions to maintain design integrity.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors for equipment/piping interface requirements.
  • Support fabrication, installation, commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries.
  • Prepare design documentation, reports, presentations for clients/stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client standards, international codes, classification society rules.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/degree in engineering or relevant qualification.
  • 4-12 years experience in piping design or senior-level experience.
  • Marine/offshore projects background desirable.
Technical Skills:
  • AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  • Recap.
  • Navisworks Manage.
  • Parametric modeling tools.
  • AI tools.
