Piping Engineer Job

Our organization seeks a Piping Engineer to design and implement piping systems for energy projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with project teams to understand requirements and objectives.
  • Designing and developing piping systems that meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and analyzing technical specifications to determine suitable piping solutions.
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings, including isometric and orthographic views.
  • Performing stress analysis and calculations to ensure piping system integrity and safety.
  • Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to integrate piping systems seamlessly.
  • Reviewing and approving vendor documents and drawings.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor installation and performance of piping systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues or discrepancies during design, construction, or operation phases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).
  • Proficiency in using piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Familiarity with stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, ANSYS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
