The Project Engineer role is a key position within the organization.

Job Description
  • Review client-provided drawings to determine the project scope and calculate tonnage, inch diameters, and square meters from these documents.
  • Assess material takeoffs (MTOs) for the project scope based on drawings and materials received at the yard.
  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly project plans.
  • Review inspection test plans (ITPs) and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions for procurement of MTOs.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for specifications and quantities.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials control charts and reconcile free-issued materials by clients.
  • Manage manpower and tools/equipment at sites.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Prior knowledge of piping engineering and design is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
  • Holding ASNT Level II Qualifications in RT/UT/MPI and LPT is advantageous.
