Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned HR Business Advisor to join our team and take on the responsibilities of driving strategic HR initiatives. This role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement human resource policies, procedures, and programs that support the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR plans and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective talent management processes, including recruitment, selection, and performance management.
  • Analyze data and metrics to inform HR decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employment law, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and advise on opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of success in HR planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, such as SAP.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including Title VII and the FMLA.
