The Role: General Manager Human Resources

">

We are looking for a seasoned HR leader to manage all Human Resources & Administrative activities for our group entities in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving engagement, talent acquisition, and retention strategies that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and drive performance culture;">
  • Design and execute reward and recognition programs to motivate employees and increase job satisfaction;">
  • Lead talent acquisition and retention efforts, including recruitment, vendor management, and onboarding processes;">
  • Manage annual salary reviews, performance bonus pay-outs, and statutory compliances;">
  • Oversee payroll, personnel files management, and ensure compliance with labor laws;">
  • Coordinate with business leaders to provide HR support and develop strategic plans to meet business objectives;">
  • Ensure all new hires receive comprehensive training on company policies and mandatory trainings within 7 days of joining;">
  • Drive Learning & Development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge;">
  • Manage administrative tasks, including office agreements, licenses, insurance coverage, and vendor management.">
  • Vendor Management and third-party salary billing: Managing manpower supply vendors and ensuring that salaries and statutory compliances are paid as per applicable labour laws.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field;">
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing Human Resources at a PAN-India level;">
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll and compensation, with experience in managing payroll for a workforce of 1000+">
  • Good understanding of statutory compliances and labor laws;">
  • Experience in drafting employment-related documents and contract negotiations;">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams;">
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.">

Your performance will be measured by:

  • 100% accuracy and adherence to timelines for annual salary reviews, performance bonus pay-outs, monthly payroll, and statutory compliances;">
  • 100% compliance to HR processes and audit observations/recommendations;">
  • Launch 3 major employee engagement initiatives within the first 6 months;">
  • Close open positions within 60 days of posting;">
  • 90% retention of new hires within 6 months;">
  • Ensure 100% new employees covered in HR induction within 7 days of joining;">
  • Drive 3 Learning & Development workshops annually.">
