Customer Success Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the entire customer success lifecycle, from onboarding and adoption to renewal and expansion is crucial for our team.
  • Developing deep relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations drives our business forward.
  • Acting as the voice of the customer internally influences product development, service enhancements, and customer support in meaningful ways.
  • Proactively monitoring customer health metrics, usage patterns, and feedback identifies risks and opportunities that benefit everyone.
  • Leading regular business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and executive communications with clients yields valuable insights and outcomes.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, product, and support teams delivers a seamless customer experience that meets and exceeds expectations.
  • Identifying and driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer goals and business needs results in long-term success.
  • Developing and implementing customer success plans tailored to each client's objectives fosters strong partnerships.
  • Managing escalations promptly and effectively maintains high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior customer success team members helps them grow professionally.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports on customer success KPIs and overall account health to senior management informs data-driven decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field; MBA preferred for leadership roles.
  • 7+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or related roles, preferably in SaaS or technology domains.
  • Strong track record of managing enterprise accounts and driving customer retention and growth through effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are essential for success.
  • Proficiency with CRM and customer success tools such as Salesforce, Gainsight, or Totango streamlines processes.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies drives business outcomes.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members result in high-performing teams.
  • A customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities resolves issues efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and managing multiple priorities achieves optimal results.
