Job Title: System Support Specialist

Job Description:

As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of our systems. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all servers and applications are running smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.

  • Monitoring system performance parameters such as CPU, memory, disk space, log sizes, and other vital metrics on a regular schedule.
  • Reporting any performance issues or anomalies beyond thresholds to the appropriate teams for immediate resolution.
  • Ensuring that scheduled tasks complete successfully and rerunning failed tasks if necessary.
  • Notifying L2/L3 teams of technical errors and collaborating with them to resolve these issues promptly.
  • Monitoring email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items/tickets and updating these with initial responses.
  • Gathering additional information from business/end-users or other teams as required.
  • Reproducing issues in testing environments and providing input to L2 team members.
  • Validating issue fixes in internal testing environments based on customer inputs received.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • Previous experience in managing application or infrastructure support at L1 level for at least 3 years.
  • SailPoint or IAM system support experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in responding to customers within defined SLAs.
  • Able to handle customer queries on system functionality and provide timely support.
  • Experience in conducting customer issue-based validation.
  • Technical background in Java and scripting is an added advantage.
Years of Experience:

5-8 years of relevant experience in system support.
