Electrical Design Engineer

The role of an Electrical Design Engineer involves the creation of electrical systems and control devices for industrial automation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Select and specify components such as PLCs, VFDs, Servos, Drives, Sensors, Switchgears, and Relays.
  • Develop knowledge of fieldbus technologies like Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Serial Communication Schematic Diagrams, Signal Line Diagrams, and generate Terminal Details.
  • Understand basic Human Safety devices including Light Curtains, Area Scanners, and Gate Switches.
  • Lead teams in managing projects related to conveyors, Robot cells, and Special Purpose Machines.
  • Review and prepare electrical drawings.
  • Generate lists of selected makes and architectures.
  • Conduct functional analysis and risk assessments.
  • Review designs and prepare sign-off documents.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Instrumentation.
  • 9 to 12 years of experience in similar industries for Lead Members.
  • 14 to 18 years of experience in similar industries for Leaders.
  • Be experienced in EPLAN.
