Modernize Legacy Platform as a Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a short-term project, with a duration of 6 months, to transform our legacy platform.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our impactful migration project. The primary focus will be on migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS.

  • Develop and maintain high-availability production systems on the AWS Cloud.
  • Migrate legacy UI systems to a new microservice architecture.
  • Upgrade legacy Java applications to Spring Boot applications, ensuring high-quality secure code.
  • Test document quality-proof work to ensure software meets business needs.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues identify root causes and appropriate resolutions.
  • Support production deployments operations maintenance activities.
  • Monitor metrics identify ways improve logging reporting alerting.
  • Follow agile principles participate in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Collaborate with other teams including engineering product management support security.

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java related frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Experience working with JavaScript related frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices build deployment technologies.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Experience working in production with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of security concepts vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication collaboration skills.
