Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned mortgage professional to lead our residential mortgage loan team. As a Mortgage Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving business growth through exceptional customer service and quality control.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct the activities of the mortgage loan team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful loan processing and delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and industry regulations, ensuring adherence to RESPA/TRID guidelines and other applicable laws.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to promote business growth and increase revenue.
  • Develop and implement coaching and training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize loan production pipeline efficiency and meet business targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, including TRID guidelines, and ability to maintain compliance.
  • Excellent communication, supervision, and organization skills, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in mortgage origination, post-closing review, PQA, and correspondent lending, with a minimum of 72-84 months of relevant experience in US home loan products.
