Job Description

A Luxury Travel Advisor & Destination Specialist role at Blingbird, a boutique luxury travel company dedicated to crafting bespoke experiences and meticulously designed journeys. We deliver quality over quantity, curating unconventional itineraries for discerning travelers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Interaction and Inquiry Management
    • Handle incoming guest calls and inquiries with prompt, courteous, and professional responses.
    • Understand client preferences, including travel dates, duration, number of guests, and budget, to offer tailored suggestions.
    • Address first-hand questions about destinations, itineraries, and Blingbird's services.
  • Lead Conversion and Proposal Development
    • Convert inquiries into leads by presenting compelling travel highlights and options.
    • Create personalized proposals based on client input, offering clear, engaging presentations.
    • Effectively communicate Blingbird's handling fees and operational processes, ensuring transparency.
    • Convince clients to pay an initial deposit and explain the value of Blingbird's bespoke services.
  • Coordination and Itinerary Development
    • Collect initial designing fees and secure client approval for further planning.
    • Collaborate with the itinerary design team once the deposit is received, ensuring smooth handovers.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning process to confirm details and approvals.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Take client reviews post-travel to assess satisfaction and gather feedback for future improvements.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
  • Administrative and Operational Support
    • Maintain accurate records of client inquiries, bookings, and preferences.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of itineraries.
    • Provide periodic reports on inquiry conversion rates and client satisfaction metrics.

Requirements:

Skillset: Proven experience in luxury travel advisory, sales, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
