Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and sell transportation, accommodation, and insurance services for clients
  • Provide personalized travel recommendations based on client needs and preferences
  • Cooperate with clients to determine their requirements and advise on suitable destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations
  • Book transportation, make hotel reservations, and collect payments
  • Use promotional techniques to sell tour packages and increase revenue
  • Deal with any travel-related issues, complaints, or refunds
  • Attend seminars to stay updated on the latest travel trends and industry developments
  • Enter data into our software system and maintain client files
  • Negotiate with tour operators to secure the best deals for our clients
  • Maintain accurate financial records and meet sales targets

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Travel Agent or in a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservation systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling platforms
  • Fluency in English; multilingualism is an asset
  • Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
  • Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a relevant field
  • Personal travel experience is considered an advantage

Salary:

Rupees 25,000 - 35,000 per month
