Senior Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Professional to drive business growth in the Indian subcontinent.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Achieve challenging targets of Oil Additives business in India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh, maintaining and growing existing business profitably.
  • Create quick and trustful relations with customers and acquire new customers.
  • Pick up new ideas and market needs, recommending smart solutions for our products.
  • OEM management: Identify potential target Indian OEM's within the Automotive industry and work with them for promoting Evonik Oil Additive technologies/initiatives.
  • Channel Management: Decide on the most effective sales channel for customers and segments in the region, select and manage agents and distributors.

Closing coordination and cooperation with global teams is essential. Work closely with departments of principals, including key account management, technical service, product management, customer service, supply chain, marketing services and business development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of lubricants and its application is preferred.

MBA in Sales/Operations, experience of handling Public sector customers, and additional skills such as technical sales acumen, self-motivation, and good communication are advantageous.
