Service Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to install, configure and service Canon printers and multifunction devices at client locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure Canon printers and multifunction devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and parts used.
- Provide technical support and training to customers for efficient printer usage.
- Coordinate with the service team and escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or Canon support.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and customer satisfaction goals.
- Manage spare parts inventory and recommend replacements as required.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Canon printer and multifunction device servicing.
- Strong knowledge of printer hardware, drivers, networking and connectivity solutions.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and service reporting.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel within Bangalore for service calls.
