Assistant Manager, Record to Report

You will be working with a leading insurance and banking client in Australia, meeting statutory and regulatory requirements for the Australian geography.

Key responsibilities include reviewing journals and reconciliations performed by records and close teams, providing critical support for analysis and decision-making, and owning controls. You will also work constantly with the onshore team to resolve any highlighted issues and have the ability to identify and report variances between actuals and forecast/budget. Additionally, you will perform deliverables aligned on forecast reporting, explain causes of different cost heads of various functions, and assist in communicating these to onshore partners. Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting-statutory and regulatory preparation of financials as per statutory guidelines and IFRS, and preparation of files per regulatory guidelines APRA submissions, FSL etc..

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- B.Com graduate
- Excellent reconciliation, accounting & reporting experience
- Excellent communication-written & verbal skills
- Proficient in accounting & analytical skills
- Proficient in MS Excel VLOOKUP, pivot tables
- Ability to prioritize efficiently and be flexible
